When Todd Woodbridge was asked who looked best at the Logies, he turned to his wife — his four-word answer said it all

There were plenty of stars to admire on the red carpet at the 66th TV WEEK Logie Awards. But when Todd Woodbridge was asked who he thought was the best dressed, his answer quickly became something much more personal.

The Tipping Point Australia host could have named any celebrity in the room.

Instead, he chose his wife, Natasha.

“There’s a lot to choose from – I’m going to call my wife out!”

And with that, Todd called Natasha over and brought her in front of the camera.

After 31 years, she was still his first choice

It was a small moment on one of Australian television’s biggest nights, but it revealed something that has remained constant throughout Todd and Natasha’s relationship.

The couple married in Melbourne in 1995, after meeting when Todd was 18 and Natasha was 16. More than three decades later, Todd still speaks openly about the woman who has shared every chapter of his journey.

And his Logies response was perhaps the simplest expression of that affection.

Among a room filled with television stars, his eyes went straight to his wife.

The woman behind the tennis legend

Todd’s love for Natasha goes much deeper than public compliments.

When his tennis career demanded almost everything from him, Natasha was there through the travel, pressure and uncertainty.

At just 19, she put her studies aside to travel with Todd as he pursued his professional career. For 17 years, the couple spent around 38 weeks of every year on the road.

Todd has previously acknowledged just how much that meant.

He has described Natasha as his wife, psychologist, mother and the person who helped keep normality in their lives — and said he would not have achieved the success he did without her.

A love story that began with a sister’s plan

Their relationship almost never happened in the way it eventually did.

Natasha was introduced to Todd through her sister, professional tennis player Nicole Provis. Nicole encouraged her to attend a dinner with Todd — and, according to Natasha, even strategically sat her beside him.

The rest, as Natasha put it, became history.

Three decades later, that teenage romance has become a family life shared with their two children, Zara and Beau.

And at the Logies, Todd still chose her

Perhaps that is what made the red-carpet moment so touching.

After 31 years of marriage, two children and a lifetime spent navigating the highs and lows of professional sport and family life, Todd wasn’t interested in giving the expected celebrity answer.

When asked who caught his eye on the red carpet, he called for Natasha.

It was playful. It was spontaneous. But it also said something beautifully simple:

After all these years, she is still the woman Todd wants beside him — and the one he is proud to choose in front of everyone. ❤️
